Václav likes rap music, mullets and, certainly, the czech beer culture. In his life, he has managed to master quite many skills, but one of the best ones remains to learn to brew the beer. His career in IT and in the government administration was a good thing, but the real happiness a man can only find in the brewery and in the cellar. He has started to brew humbly at home, but now he is growing as a Cejl. His philosophy is simple: he wouldn’t produce or sell anything he wouldn’t love to drink himself. And it doesn’t really matter whether it is trending or not. Just as his biggest idol Olda Říha would say: The beer is just like life; you never know, where it will lead you…
„The
man,
the
mistery.“
Czech classic that smells like Žatec. While hopping, he used exclusively the Žatec Saaz and the result is a pure, fragrant, delicately fruity and peppery beer, in which an expert could taste a slice of bread as well as a taste of gooseberries from the grandma’s backyard. His lager is a fluid summertime regardless of the season.

A beer that goes along with Václav since the home brewing beginnings. The recipe has gone through years of harmonizing and the result is a beautifully biscuity beer with lower bitterness and a strong malt trace, which prods into another sip.

Lately, the barley malt just like the Plisner or Pale Ale ones are a hot topic among beer brewers, but Václav ran out of it while brewing a new kind of beer. As an act of silent defiance he used barley groats. Just like that a new beer style was found. He named it New Libeň.
Nevertheless Václav believes that it becomes an honored beer style, which would be brewed even in the breweries like the Žižkov ones are.
